The Crossover No One Asked for
In Age of Ultron, we were given one of the most underwhelming villains in the MCU, as well as a look at the Hulkbuster armor that’s supposed to stop the berserk version of the Hulk. But earlier in the film, we see Tony talking to Bruce about how he constantly needs Venorica to look over his shoulder—a code for the Hulkbuster.

So, why did they choose Veronica? Director Joss Whedon stated that it’s a reference to the Archie Comics, and Mark Ruffalo confirmed the claim. Betty Ross served as his Betty to bring him back to his senses, so why not have a Veronica who did the complete opposite?
