50+ Iron Man Easter Eggs You Probably Didn’t Notice

Here’s an easter egg that was in plain sight but not noticed by many people. Unless you’re a diehard Liverpool or Chelsea fan, you probably didn’t realize that soccer was even a part of the MCU. In Iron Man 3, there’s a brief moment where a famous match between Liverpool and Chelsea takes place on a TV screen.

The score was 3-0 in favor of Liverpool. This was taken from an actual match of the 2011-12 season, but most Americans (us included) had no idea what was going on. It’s an American movie, for goodness sakes! Why not just toss a football around instead?
