50+ Iron Man Easter Eggs You Probably Didn’t Notice

Award-winning actor Mickey Rourke played the evil Russian scientist, Ivan Vanko, who would go on to become Whiplash in Iron Man 2. The man is a pretty shady character, both in the film and in real life. We love him with all our hearts, and we wish that he’d pull an RDJ and refrain from using illicit substances.

Roughly 47 minutes into Iron Man 2, someone shoves a newspaper containing Ivan Vanko’s image during an arrest. That image wasn’t made for the movie, but rather, it was taken from a real-life story when he was arrested for drug charges. Yikes.
