Livingroom curtains for bathrooms
Is this a thing? Do people actually take fabric curtains and hang them up in the shower? Livingroom curtains are not waterproof and will absorb a huge amount of water over time. As it gets more water-logged, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. There’s already enough of that stuff going on in the bathroom, and your fabric curtains aren’t doing anybody any favors.
We’ll discuss bathroom curtains in more detail later on, but essentially, get plastic, semi-transparent curtains or shower windows instead. The latter can be costly, but it’s also a lot easier to clean than moldy curtains.
