You may now have known that rainbows are full circles because you may have never seen them like that before. That’s because the bottom half of the rainbow is hidden by the horizon. These rainbow circles, also known as glory, can only be viewed at certain high points, as shown in this incredible photo below.
For example, people in aircraft can sometimes see glory rainbows. Can you imagine how incredible that must be? Next time you’re in the presence of a rainbow and you can only view the top half, try to get to the highest point possible and you’ll see something positively outstanding and beautiful.
