Fruits Can Have Scars Too
Two things you probably didn’t know about tomatoes: First, despite the popular argument of whether a tomato is a fruit of a vegetable, it was actually declared as a fruit in 1893 by the United States Supreme Court Justice Horace Gray. Second, just like us, fruits can bear scars on their skin.

That’s right, this naturally made six or nine, depending on where you’re looking from, proves that it was damaged during the growing process and left a scar. Like human beings, when we get injured, we can scar but we’re usually fine. Although this tomato has scarred, it’s still perfectly safe to eat.
