The Spiral Flower
Before they turn yellow, dandelion flowers produce some kind of white fuzz that you’ve probably been told growing up that you can make a wish on if you blow them off the stem. Dandelions usually stand upright, but this particular dandelion has a unique spiral shape that you wouldn’t usually find.
Just like the tomato with the scar shaped like a six or nine, depending on where you’re looking from, this spiral is due to the Fibonacci spiral that can be found in fruits, vegetables, and even flowers. It’s pretty cool the ticks Mother Nature can play on the Earth’s organisms.
