Leafy Lace
We’re amazed by how this perfectly symmetrical leaf is decaying in the most beautiful way, making it a natural piece of art. The decay is providing colors of a purplish-black, cream, and auburn, with deep lines that symbolize the tree branches that occur at the end of the fall season.
The crumpling that is beginning at the top of the leaf looks like lace or part of some kind of doily Although if the leaf continues to crumble, it may take away its beautiful colors, we would love to see how far down it could go. Who knew a leaf could be so amazing.
