A new type of tomato
Diced tomatoes are a staple of every pantry, essential as they are for Bolognese, chili, most casseroles, and stews. I’ll probably use at least one of these tins twice a week, so I have to admit that I’d be disappointed and confused if I opened one and found peaches inside.
I love peaches, I love making peach cobbler, pies, and fresh fruit salads. However, I’ve never put them in a Bolognese sauce, and I don’t think that I want to know how that little experiment would end. I’m just thankful that whoever brought this tin home looked before they poured it into the pan with their sauteed onions.
