More work
There are occasions when I look at the examples of people trying to save money or increase profit and think “that must have taken you longer and cost you more money than if you’d just kept it as it was.” In this case, I’d be right, because putting whole shrimp into this packet would have been much easier and quicker than finding heads and tails to use.
As well as being a little appalled at what the company is trying to sell by using clever packaging, I’m also a little curious as to what they did with the middle of the shrimp. What did they expect their customers to cook with just the heads and tails, anyway? I’m good at thrifty cooking, but even I would struggle here.
