Measuring up
When you’re out at the shops and you suddenly see a brilliant homeware bargain, you might need measurements from somewhere in the house pretty quickly. The number of texts I’ve had from my husband, or sent to him asking him to measure a cabinet, or check how many serving dishes we have makes it look like we’re running a Bed, Bath and Beyond.
He is quite helpful usually, though, providing measurements and information even though he’ll sigh at whatever I bring home. When this wife asked her husband for a simple piece of information, she wasn’t expecting the measurements to be displayed in “small child”. The table is “1 small child long,” which isn’t really that helpful when you’re buying table runners.
