Peppa The What?
Peppa Pig is a global phenomenon that has dominated kiddie tv time in 180 countries. The raspy little British piglet also airs in 40 languages. Some parents think she’s a bad influence on their mini-me, encouraging back-talk and temper tantrums, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming one of the most popular kids characters of all time.
With popular kids’ characters come the cakes and pastries inspired by them. We’re using the term “inspired” loosely here because these Peppas look more like an appendage than a pig. Perhaps they were made to look like this to avoid any copyright claims. Imagine having to defend yourself in court over these embarrassingly shaped baked goods.
