Risking Children’s Safety
Public schools aren’t particularly known for being the safest place for children, despite being a place where children are forced to stay for six hours of the day (in the US, at least). However, this story doesn’t take place in the US—it takes place in the faraway, exotic country known as Sweden.
The kids would arrive early at school during harsh winters to escape the cold, but a group of misbehaving young women forced the school’s administration to keep the doors locked until the first bell rang. The worst part is that the adults in charge of the school didn’t relent even when students nearly completely became ice statues.
