Excuses, Excuses
Parents always say to their children, “do as I say, not as I do”. You may have heard that phrase from your parents growing up, or you may have said it to your kids. As much as parents want to set a good example for their kids, sometimes, adults are allowed to do things that children should avoid doing.
That’s why when a mom tells her kid to clean his room, he can’t use the same excuses his parents use, even if they are valid. Because children need to learn discipline, they need to learn to clean their room, and they need to learn that excuses won’t get them far in life.
