The rush of Valentine’s Day dinner service can take its toll not just on the guests but also on the restaurant’s staff. The OP told a story of how the head chef completely lost it, presumably because the line cooks couldn’t keep up with the orders. We’ve all seen Gordon Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen, so we can probably understand where this explosion is coming from.
Anyway, before the head chef leaves, he makes sure to toss a side of salmon at one of the cooks out of frustration. The head chef could’ve been more reasonable and threw something less expensive, like an egg or veggies.
