We can totally relate to this person. She pretty much described what every person feels right before a Zoom meeting begins. Even though you already know what you’re going to say, you can’t help but check and recheck your notes. And then there’s always the sinking feeling that you’re late to a meeting, even though you’ve checked the schedule 100 times before.
But when you actually join the meeting, you’re sitting in a room with two or three other people who are probably performing audio and visual checks. You could muster up your courage and spend a few minutes chatting with your coworkers, but we’d rather just leave our cameras off and get a snack.
