Getting Crafty with Kids – Glass Marble Magnets

May 29, 2019 by MamaBee

When my kids were younger they were so into arts and crafts. I had an unlimited supply of craft stuff from magnetic strips to double-sided sticky tape, to construction paper, glue, and everything in between. There were pompoms, googly eyes and anything a boy or girl would need to create their own masterpiece.

I even had finger paint and a huge selection of acrylic paints, why? Because I was never scared of a good craft mess. Getting messy is part of childhood, and I’m so glad I encouraged crafty time with my kids then as well as now.

My kids may be preteens and a teen now, but I still try to find crafty ways to inspire their creative minds and get them to step away from electronics. Whether we do something that helps solve a problem or we craft it up just for some quality time together, I am forever trying to find new ideas that work for older kids’ craft time.
