Like every other movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Guardians of the Galaxy films are chock-full of easter eggs. Director James Gunn must have had a blast planting hidden details throughout the two (soon to be three) G&G movies. After scouring the interwebz, we think we’ve compiled a pretty comprehensive list of all of the details that might’ve gone over most viewers’ heads.

Improvised or Out of Necessity?
The Guardians of the Galaxy aren’t wealthy billionaires who can afford billionaire weapons and billionaire spaceships. They have to learn to make do with whatever they can get their hands on. Luckily for the Guardians, their improvisation skills and technical prowess are off the charts.
In the first GOTG film, you might have noticed how the Guardians use a familiar set of straps for the Hadron Enforcer. This has to be one of the most ingenious ways of refashioning something, and it definitely does not look crude in any way. We gotta hand it to Rocket Raccoon! That guy is an engineering genius!
