#16: My First Sad Christmas
Some people’s purpose in life is to draw the faces of children’s dolls, and others’ purpose in life is to do something vastly different, like working as a bank teller or managing a hot dog stand. Those people should stick to the jobs that they were made for.

It’s not that this doll is necessarily sad per se. It’s more that there are multiple strange ways to understand its features, but none of them indicates a normal child’s face. It’s either a sad gingerbread man, an aardvark with its snout buried in its shirt, or else, yes, a human baby – but an angry and sinister one.
