#22: A Sad Excuse for a Bench
It’s not uncommon to find public infrastructure that is not quite so well adapted for people—that is, infrastructure that is mainly created to cut costs more than to serve the common interests of the people whose basic needs it is made to provide for.

This kind of maladapted infrastructure is ubiquitous in all sorts of places, but a bench like this at a bus stop next to a hospital seems like a whole new level of not supporting the target population. Even the most able-bodied people would struggle to sit on this “bench,” let alone those suffering various ailments.
