48 Wild Designs We Can’t Explain, and Not for a Lack of Trying

In case you didn’t understand my cynicism above, these street signs are fake. With so many traffic accidents happening all the time, you’d really think there’d be a little bit more consideration for the poor drivers who already have to deal with so many obstacles and distractions without this sign to add to the list.

It’s just a recipe for disaster to hang fake road signs in a place where it is very plausible for real ones to be hung. While it might be some effective marketing, it’s also got to be an effective method for getting many people lost when they try to take a shortcut to New York or Hong Kong.
