How could they?
Every young child thinks their parents are invincible and know everything about the world. They have answers to every question, from “Why is the sky blue?” to “How much do you love me?” As kids grow up, they eventually find out that their parents don’t in fact know everything, and that in some ways, they’re just as clueless as everyone else. But while parents still hold that power over their kids, of course they’re going to take advantage of the chance to share worldly wisdom through handwritten notes!
This note, carefully written on a paper towel, shows that Dad just couldn’t find the motivation to make his own sandwich. We’ve all been there! Sorry kid, but parents get hungry too.
