People Who Don’t Understand the Art of Negotiation

When you start a career as an artist, you’re unfortunately signing yourself up for some pretty crappy treatment from customers. For some reason, people just don’t seem to understand the value of art, or the fact that some people actually make their living off of their creations.

Luckily, this artist stood their ground amidst the disrespect. We’re not sure exactly what this art project entailed, but it’s clear that this customer wasn’t willing to pay a reasonable price. We’re baffled at their claim that this “greedy US artist” was just “not needy enough.” Are artists required to be needy by nature?
