People Who Don’t Understand the Art of Negotiation

While it’s not uncommon to try and negotiate the price of second-hand items for sale online, you have to be prepared to take a “no” for an answer. This person was selling a wood shelf, apparently made from real wood, for $75, and someone offered him $30 – and expected it to be delivered to his doorstep.

Now, that hardly sounds like a good deal for the seller, right? This person was actually asking him to deliver the shelf for less than the asking price! He explained that he could get the same shelf at Walmart for $40, so he wasn’t willing to pay the same price for a second-hand item. Well, then, it sounds to us like this person has better take his shady deals to Walmart.
