It’s not going to work out
The guilt trap: A sometimes effective but very much overused technique to try to get what you want. Here we have a single mother who wants to buy a pretty pricey item for her kids. Unfortunately, she came up $400 short, but still expects the seller to accept her offer.
She even throws in some handmade jewelry to sweeten the deal. But when the seller politely declines, the buyer freaks out. Honestly, did she really think she would change the seller’s mind by being rude? Clearly it didn’t work for her, since the seller made it clear they couldn’t care less about her children’s Christmas. Oh well, we still hope they had a nice holiday.
