People Who Don’t Understand the Art of Negotiation

Haggling and negotiating is pretty common and accepted in most cultures, but there’s definitely an art to it. And sadly, this person has not mastered that art. Sure, when something is a few hundred dollars, you might negotiate and try to save yourself some money. But trying to haggle when the price is only $2 to begin with? Come on.

We’re not really sure what the point would be in trying to lower the price even more. $2 seems extremely reasonable unless the listing is for a single paperclip, a piece of gum or something else equally small and worthless. It’d be fascinating to see just how low this buyer was trying to go… Maybe they even thought they could get the seller to pay them instead!
