Hilarious Family Vacation Moments Gone Wrong

November 3, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

We Hope You Have a Comfy Car

You’ve probably been turned off by the whole idea of camping after all of the disasters you’ve read about. If not, this story will definitely help out. This group of friends thought a camping trip at the Mammoth Cave in Kentucky was a great idea… until heavy rain began to downpour.

Not only did the rain ruin all of the fun camping activities that they had been looking forward to such as hiking, barbequing, singing songs, and making s’mores around a campfire, but it ruined their home for the weekend too. Their tent was completely flooded and all of their belongings were soaked, forcing them to spend the night in their cars.

Watch Out, Kid!

This poor kid seems to have bad luck, after bad luck, after bad luck. Basically, he’s just a magnet for disaster. His family loves him anyway despite all of the panic attacks he caused them in just one vacation after getting into not one, not two, not even three, but six different accidents.

First, the little boy got his arms stuck in one elevator and then another. If you know someone who has done this as a child, they’ll tell you they still have the scars on their hands. He somehow then managed to fall in a lake three times and ended the trip by getting lost at a carnival. I’m suspecting this is all a case of bad parenting.

Try Not to Cause a Scene

Some parents joke that their job is to embarrass their kids, but this is more than an embarrassment. It’s a total heartbreak. Although you can tell by the picture that it was funny for the people around them. This family decided to go on a two-week vacation to San Francisco in an attempt to save their marriage, but it didn’t quite go as planned.

After fighting for the first two days, their marriage really went to hell on the third day when they verbally battled each other at Coit Tower, in front of their children, and admitted to their cheating scandals. Needless to say, it was an unpleasant flight home and divorce papers were filed. If you’re ever trying to save your marriage, let the kids stay with the grandparents.

Not a Hard Task

This husband is so unfortunately helpless that he can’t be relied on for anything. Apparently, his poor wife has to wear the pants and the skirt in the family. The only task she gave him was to book a hotel for the family and he completely failed all of them.

Failure to also find a last-minute accommodation with every hotel booked in town, the family ended up sleeping at a drive-in movie theater. Since this wasn’t planned, they weren’t in a comfy van that would make the situation more comfortable. The Mr. had to deal with a cold shoulder from the Mrs. for the duration of the trip.
