If you’ve ever heard the term “planned obsolescence,” you’re probably familiar with it. If you haven’t, here’s what it boils down to to maximize profits, manufacturers build a predetermined shelf life into their goods for consumers to return and get more of it.
Spray cans are a great example of this, with the obvious flaw that there is still juice in the can, but nothing comes out. The solution is simple: soak the nozzle in gasoline for 15 minutes to unblock any paint obstructing the top.
