A new lease of life
When the bare bones of your inherited chair are sound, but the fabric that your Great Aunt Gertie chose for it isn’t quite your style, as well as being a little tired around the edges, you don’t need to throw it out.
Reupholstering a chair with a new fabric, or even more hard-wearing leather can lift a room. Turn the chair upside down, remove the seat, and use a staple gun to fix the new fabric over the top of the existing one.
