#34: Lucky Eggs
In the ’80s, Lucky Egg machines were ubiquitous, popping up in groceries, malls, and arcades alike. For just $0.25 a play, anyone could win prizes of remarkable value, hoping to be the one to draw the prized ‘lucky egg.’

Predominantly offering modest rewards like stickers or rub-on tattoos, these Flintstones-themed games occasionally surprised with Hot Wheels. By the early ’90s, the stakes jumped as tales spread of Tamagotchis being found inside, now potential treasures worth thousands unopened.
