Mattresses
Possibly one of the most hard-working items in the home and the least thought about. We spend almost half our lives in bed (unless you’re a parent of a small child, in which case you probably don’t see it at all!), and the condition of our mattress is so important to getting a good night’s sleep.
You should be changing your mattress every 8-10 years, to make sure that the foam isn’t too compressed to support you and that it hasn’t built up with bacteria to encourage dust mites. Turning it every 6 months can also help with its shelf life.
