Peanut butter
A peanut butter and jelly sandwich brings back a whole swathe of childhood memories. Sitting with your friends eating lunch, picnics by the river, or wolfing them down with a tall glass of milk. To be honest, I can’t say I’m ever worried about a jar of peanut butter going bad in my house. We get through the stuff so quickly it’s tough to buy enough of it.
If you were less of a fan of the creamy nectar than those in my household, you might be interested to know that once opened, a jar of peanut butter will go bad after 6 months. If you leave it unopened (again, unthinkable over here!), then it will keep for 2 years. Natural peanut butter will last 9 months once opened if kept in the fridge.
