Boxed wine
We all want to age like a fine wine (I’d quite like to drink fine wine as I age, but that’s a different matter). Wine, however, doesn’t always age well, especially the kind that comes in boxes. This isn’t really anything to do with the quality of the wine itself, but rather the quality of the packaging.
Boxed wine is best consumed 6 to 8 months after you’ve bought it. The main concern is that some boxes include the chemical bisphenol, or BPA, which has been found to cause fertility issues and heart problems. So you should either stick to the bottled stuff or drink up!
