#34: Historic Renovations
There are several historic buildings in the United States, but these structures are babies compared to the ancient castles and buildings in Europe. This Scottish tower is at least 500 years old and still standing strong. Unfortunately, someone decided to add their unwelcome touch to this beautiful building a few years ago.
Whoever owns and lives in this Caldwell tower decided it would be a good idea to build a glaringly modern addition to the side of this old stone building. They didn’t even try and make it blend in! It’s painted seafoam green with white trim and it’s considered an eyesore to many in the area. We get that people can do whatever they want with their property, but have some respect for the past at least!
