What’s Mine is Mine
You might think that marriage means sharing everything. And that might be true, but not necessarily when it comes to food, especially french fries. It’s one thing when you make a plan to split. It’s another when your wife tells you she doesn’t want anything, then tries to eat half of your order!
It’s the lack of transparency that’s the real problem here. Had she only said, “Yes I want fries,” maybe the problem could have been avoided? But when you state that your portion is yours and yours alone, they are asked to share, one can understand why husbands would be a bit stingy. It’s called thinking forward, and wives just need to be honest from the get-go.
