We all make promises that we fully intend to keep, but that slip down our priority list (or completely out of our head) and never quite get done. Usually, it’s a good idea to admit this, however, especially when you’re expecting your wife to check up on you later.

It seems like this guy makes a habit of telling his wife that of course he’s done that thing that she asked him to do, only to be confronted with the truth. “Yes dear, of course, I made sure Bobby had his packed lunch when I dropped him off. What do you mean the school just phoned and he has no food?” Not the greatest strategy.
