The Cutest Goat Cheese Ever
Every year for their birthday my mom likes to take my kids to the toy store and buy them a birthday present of their choice. They love going with grandma and picking up their birthday gift. My younger son’s current obsession is stuffed animals of… food. Yep, food. They’re actually not animals at all, but what can I call them? Stuffed food products? British toy manufacturers Jellycat export their cute furry dolls all over the globe (they have them in our neighborhood’s toy store too) and they truly have an insane range of stuffed food dolls.
They have every imaginable vegetable (including leeks, asparagus, bok choy and cauliflower), they have sushi, sandwiches, cheeses (you should see how cute the brie is!), baked goods with French names (the tarte aux fraises is to die for!), eggs, and much more. They’re all soft like stuffed animals and have cute little faces. My mom obviously finds it very strange that her grandson would prefer a stuffed carrot to a teddy bear or a stuffed pretzel to a cute puppy doll – but he does. And then he sleeps with his stuffed food toys too! That’s comfort food for you.
