Letting Go
Here is another lovely carrot situation. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say carrots are as complex as people. Not only do they need root support even though they are a root themselves; they have deep-rooted issues. Just like your average insecure young adult, they are victims of attachment issues.
It isn’t very surprising that they have attachment issues though. Letting things go is a death or life situation for them. Spending your entire childhood and adulthood rooted to the ground for food, and constantly being surrounded by your kind 24/7 – has repercussions. There is no way you’ll survive the outside world, it’s over the minute the gardener pulls you out.
