Lacewing eggs
At first glance, these objects seem innocent enough. We’d probably wipe them away, thinking it was pieces of veneer shedding off. Instead, this Redditor decided to take a picture of the hanging objects and ask other users what they were.
And it didn’t take long for another user to respond with the correct answer. Apparently, these are lacewing eggs, which hang from a strand of fiber or something. If you see lacewing eggs, don’t brush them away! Lacewings aren’t harmful, and they devour garden pests like aphids and thrips. You wouldn’t want mama lacewing to come at you with a vengeance, would you?
