#16: Table Manners
From childhood, our parents taught us that eating with our hands is rude. It might be acceptable in some cultures or when eating certain foods, but eating with our hands is a big no-no. Besides, why would you want to get your hands and food dirty? That’s what knives and forks are for.

It seems as if the person behind this invention refused to accept these basic table manners. They went on to invent cutlery that allowed them to eat with their hands while using a knife and a fork. This isn’t even a good idea in theory, and it doesn’t look convenient or preferable to a regular knife and fork.
