I don’t know about you, but many people are getting antsy around the world. Being stuck inside and unable to go anywhere you’re used to going when spring has sprung is hard on anyone. While many of us continue to practice social distancing and try to stay home unless it’s essential to leave the house, many find that the kids are getting cabin fever.
My kids started doing a daily walk, it’s nice to get outdoors and have some fresh air. If your kids are younger and there’s something more you want to do as a means to strengthen the family bond and keep kids busy while you’re stuck at home, then you’ll love my list of ideas featured here today.

How do I keep my kids busy indoors?
My list of ideas to keep your kids busy indoors is endless. I was that type of mom who was always coming up with new, creative indoor games. We once had a game of tag where the trio chased each other around in this circle and it was nuts. I can’t recall the rules, but it was super fun and created loads of laughter. Basically, they played tag in a circle due to having two doors in the middle of the house, and they chased each other round and round for hours before bed.
We’ve also played don’t let the Mama get you, which was a game that got started one night when the trio didn’t want to go to bed. They refused to come inside and instead, as siblings do, teamed up against me to hide from the Mama. It was the day we started “hide from the Mama†game or “don’t let Mama catch you†game. I would chase them all over the yard and try to capture them to get them indoors for bed.
