Takeout Trauma
The customer isn’t always right. When you apply for a job and go through training, you’re told to act like they are, but we know the reality is that there’s a large number of very, very wrong customers out there, like this one who called the police on a small, family-owned restaurant after she fumbled her food.
We don’t know what was more frightening in this scenario, the fact the woman thought the restaurant owed her free food because she dropped it outside, or the intimidating tactics the police tried to use and the way they sided with her. Since when can the police force businesses to give free food?
