Kids Discover Their Parents’ Cool Past

This picture was taken after this woman gave birth. This is her in the hospital and yes, that is a cigarette in her hand. As you can tell this is not a recent picture. It was taken in the eighties when smoking meant you were cool. It was way before people knew how bad smoking is for your health. 

When I was younger, my mom used to tell us about how people were once able to smoke in movie theatres, at concerts, and even at her public high school. We couldn’t believe it. There is no way I could imagine something like that happening these days. These days there are very few places where you can smoke.
