In this scene, a dangerous alien species erupts from the stomach of the character that John Hurt plays. However they achieved it, they did a fantastic job with it since it looks exactly like the baby alien from the movie emerging from his incubation state from inside John Hurt’s torso. Whatever method they used, they did an excellent job with it.
