#29: A Slight Confusion
We’re not sure what’s the worst part about this story: that these people had to use a camping stove inside the house to cook because the cooker was broken for three months, that they paid full rent at the time, or that the landlord doesn’t know which apartment in the building is his.
In the end, their neighbors had to pay the price for this silliness. This landlord actually changed the cooker in the wrong apartment – after he entered the flat without warning. That’s why you should always lock your door, even if you just run out for a quick errand. Well, that, and burglars, obviously.
