Nikola Tesla
The last known photograph that was taken of Serbian-American inventor, physicist, and futurist Nikola Tesla, remembered for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system, shows him looking calm, yet defeated in a well-tailored suit. Tesla was unfortunate and alone when he died in the New York Hotel on January 7th, 1943.

Until the day he died, Tesla lived in poverty, living on a vegetative diet of only milk, honey, bread, and vegetable juice. However, the brilliant inventor remained happy as he spent his final days walking through parks and he bird-watching by day and working on mathematical equations and scientific achievements by night.
