Heath Ledger
Heath Ledger was an up-and-coming actor who began his career starring in romantic comedies like 10 Things I Hate About You and Brokeback Mountain, which won him the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2006. Ledger eventually starred in more dramatic films and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor as the Joker in The Dark Knight in 2009.

Ledger, unfortunately, could not accept the second Academy Award that he earned post his death. In 2008, Ledger was found in his hotel room after an alleged accidental overdose of prescription pain medication. He was in the midst of filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. This photo of him was taken on the set of the film just hours before he passed away.
