Bob Marley
Bob Marley is best known for being a symbol of world peace and tolerance along with his ultimate goal to live a serene lifestyle through Rastafarian-inspired reggae music, a genre of music for which he is seen as the pioneer. The Jamaican singer created his music by blending reggae, ska, rocksteady, and superior vocals into his creative style.

Marley also supported unity. He was responsible for bringing people together when racial integration had just been accepted in America. In 1977, Marley was diagnosed with skin cancer.
