Alan Rickman was a very successful actor who has been admired for many generations. He is most remembered for bringing the role of Professor Snape to life in the wildly successful Harry Potter movie saga. Professor Snape was a very evil character, but Rickman’s performances were so outstanding that audiences couldn’t help but fall in love. 

Rickman has been given a lot of credit for making the movie series as successful as it was. In 2015, Rickman was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His battle was short as he died less than a year later. In the last picture taken of Rickman, he looks very handsome and kind — not evil at all, proving what a great actor he was.
