The Last Photographs Taken of Celebrities

Naya Rivera ended early and was most recognized for her role as Santana on Glee. This photo of Rivera has a dark yet heroic story behind it. She posted this picture on Instagram just days before her disappearance with the caption reading: “make the most of every day you are given, tomorrow is not promised.”

Investigators eventually learned that Rivera had drowned at Lake Piru in California’s Los Padres National Forest. She was with her four-year-old son, Josey, who fortunately lived; he was found safe inside their rental boat. It is believed that Rivera had passed away by exhausting herself while saving her son’s life, proving that she is a true heroine.
